Lodge Logic 5-Quart Pre-Seasoned Dutch Oven

Lodge Logic Pre-Seasoned 9-Quart Dutch Oven with Iron Cover, (
great for the grill, My wife and I received this a few years ago as a gift. This last grilling season I found out how awesome it is. I would throw in a sliced onion, a few cans of beer and brats and let it simmer as I cooked the ribs, burgers, chicken, then just flame the brats to make them snap. Also used it for smoking baked beans for hours as I smoked ribs and beer can chickens. Was hoping to smoke a pot of chili in it, but looks like I'm running out of decent weather to be sitting and drinking outside all day.
Excellent Dutch Oven, (What's this?) Really loved it but had to replace it as it's not ideal to use on a Glasstop stove (primarily for weight).
Best ever..., (What's this?) Have used the Dutch oven a couple of times now. I ended up making the very best tasting slow, dry roast chicken I've ever made (or for that matter, have ever had).
Great Sturdy Cast Iron Dutch Oven!, (What's this?) Came fast and on time.

Dutch oven arrived well packed with all necessary reading materials. Have seasoned it multiple times already and have cooked 2 wonderful meals upon receiving this item as a gift not 3 days ago. As with all cast-iron kitchen ware, they retain heat very well and should be handled cautiously upon cooking. Cleaning it is easy and if you're wondering how to, there are many video tutorials online.
A great Dutch oven to last a lifetime, (What's this?) Nice and heavy since it's made out of cast iron. I fell in love with mine as soon as I opened it up! I know this will be around long after I'm not, its so solid. I'm looking into getting more of their cast iron cookware now because this one is so great and cooks so evenly.
Lodge Dutch Ovens, (What's this?) These camp ovens are excellent quality and made to last forever. It was well worth the costs of having it posted to Australia.
Great, But Huge & Very Heavy, (What's this?) I love cooking with cast iron and bought this so I could make just about anything in it. I have a hard time washing it because it is VERY heavy. I wish it had larger side handles to make it easier to move. The spiral handle is only useful if using on a fire. I still use this, but I will be ordering the 7 quart soon.
Great product, (What's this?) I love Lodge ware. You can't go wrong with cast iron! I have some of their camp ware and am very pleased with it.
Lodge Logic Pre-Seasoned 9-Quart Dutch Oven with Iron Cover (Kitchen), (What's this?) I like it, and with this purchase, I now have Lodge Cast Iron Dutch Ovens in 5qt, 7qt, and 9qt sizes. These ovens, complement the other Lodge cast iron cookware I own and use, extremely well; and, so far I've not experienced any of the problems that others say they have had with their Lodge Cast Iron cookware.

Staub 6 Quart Coq Au Vin Cocotte, Grenadine

Awesome!, (What's this?) I love Staub, and this 6 quart is perfect for so many dishes. It's very versatile, you can make almost anything in this and will turn out better than in most pots. The food will actually taste significanty better! This cocotte is also beautiful and I love the blue color with the wonderful rooster knob. It is well worth the price tag, and my cocotte came in perfect condition.
Beautiful and functional! LOVE IT!, (What's this?) After much research, I decided to buy the Grenadine Staub 6 Quart Coq Au Vin with rooster. I initially bought the Le Creuset 7.25 Qt. at an outlet store, but once I did further research and saw the Staub in person, I couldn't get my mind off how beautiful it looked. I made a bolognese sauce and it turned out wonderful! The Staub cleaned up so easily and it's the perfect size to make dishes for 4-8 people. Next I plan to make a pot roast.
HEAVY-DUTY AND GORGEOUS!!, I purchased this item in grenadine, a deep rich red. Despite some of the reviews about receiving poorly finished products, I couldn't resist that rooster handle. My pot arrived in perfect condition. I didn't think 6 qts. would be big enough, but this is one serious piece of cookware. Perhaps it's the oval shape that makes it seem so big--the weight is substantial too. I've been wanting to make Julia Child's Boeuf Bourgignon--from braising on the stove top, in and out of the oven then back in the oven for hours and my first dish in my Staub pot was perfection. Clean up was surprisingly easy, despite its size and weight.
Staub Coq Au Vin, (What's this?) I purchased this Staub pot for my future daughter-in-law. She loves to cook and says the pot is excellent for her slow-cook recipes.
FABULOUS, JUST FABULOUS!, (What's this?) I purchased the 6 quart Coq Au Vin Cocotte in royal blue just before Christmas this year and I have used it every day since. I absolutely love it and am only sorry that I didn't purchase it years ago. It is a dream to use. I have used it on top of the stove as well as in the oven and everything comes out simply perfect and delicious.
Beauty and Function!, I first layed eyes on this pot one day while shopping at the mall but the price is beyond what I would usually spend on myself so I kept on walking. Flash forward a few months and for my birthday my husband gives me the Le Creuset 6 3/4qt cast iron/enamel French cooker and I gushed and cooed buuuut I knew I had to return it for the Staub I first fell in love with. It is beautiful and I just loved the rooster handel but of course that's not reason enough alone to buy the Staub. After much research on line I knew it was the right purchase after reading again and again that people who had both the Le Creuset and the Staub prefered the Staub and I can see why. I had been using my Caphelon dutch oven for years to braise a roast, the Staub wins hands down. Best roast beef, vegetables and gravy I've ever made and so easy! Went great from my glass stovetop (do use care when using it on glass stoves)to the oven and washed right up with just a little soap and water. So far so good and I look forward to years of delicious home cooked meals and who knows, maybe someday I'll pass it on to one of my kids, I'm sure it will look as good then as it does now.
Not good quality, I loved the way Staub cooks, or at least until my pot cracked against the sink. Amazingly the sink survived but my pot has a crack 4 inches long. I was more amazed to see a disclaimer on their website that if the pot hits a solid surface it might break and there is no warranty on that. I have plenty of Le Creuset and they resist pretty much everything. Staub slipped of my hand and cracked againt the sink. Poor quality and they never answer phone calls or e-mails for warranty services. Also, keep your reciept forever because you need it for any claims. To pay $200-$300 for a pot and loose it like that is not worth it. Go with Le Creuset instead.
Wonderful - If You Get One That Is Well Built..., (What's this?) I am trying very hard to like Staub as much as Le Creuset. I have ordered many Staub products and almost all have been exchanged because they broke or were poorly constructed. Amazon is always amazing at making sure I am satisfied, but Staub really needs to step up their QC. When I received this 5 3/4 qt Grenadine Cocotte I was blown away at how nice it looked. Really a stunning piece. I looked over every square inch to make sure it was in perfect condition. Sadly, there was a chip in the lid which penetrated the enamel and caused the lid to rust.

I feel it cooks as well, if not a little better than my round Le Creuset French oven. The thicker layer of iron never burns anything and creates a nice fond. The lid, though heavier than the Le Creuset's, was not a better sealing lid.

I promptly received a free replacement from Amazon (+ a $10 gift card!), but the replacement piece was an absolute travesty.
Staub is the best, Last year, I received the Staub 6 qt Coq au Vin as a wedding present and I am in love with it. As an experienced cook, I was curious how this pot would stand up to practical use. It's exceeded my expectations. I've experimented with different dishes, including roasts and stews, all of which were easy to prepare in this pot - from stovetop to oven to table - and every one of which has been flavorful, unique and perfectly finished. The flavors are deliciously wedded every time, but there's no homogenation or sameness of flavor that you get in other types of slow cookers. The little drip points in the lid act as the perfect, ongoing baster so foods are tender and moist. As an added perc, this pot, with its grenadine color and coq handle, is absolute gorgeous which makes it all the more fun to use! Personally, I prefer Staub over Le Creuset for both form and function.
Staub 6 quart Coq Au Vin, (What's this?) Merchandise arrived in a timely fashion. It was well packaged and protected. In its orignal box and in perfect condition.

All-Clad Cast Aluminum 5-1/2-Quart Dutch Oven with Two Oven Mitts

Most used pot in our collection, This pot came free with another all-clad set we got. Initially thought that we wouldn't have much use for it, turned out we were wrong. As long as it could hold the food that we are cooking we will cook in it. The non-stick surface is the best one that we have used.

for those reviews worried about their non-stick coating... here's an excerpt from their website:

"All-Clad Nonstick Cookware is a great product for cooking sticky foods like eggs, potatoes, or rice, and for those individuals who want to avoid using additional fat or oil. All-Clad's nonstick surfaces do not have harmful PFOA gases.
Pack Oven, (What's this?) I purchased the Dutch Oven for packing, the objective was to use it on coals and on a wood camp stove. There were several concerns about durability, and if a light pot would be adequate for backing on coals. My first observation was that the dutch oven is light enough for backpacking and definately no problem in mule or llama panniers.
Eagerly, I tested it with charcoal on the patio for baking bread. The lid is rounded with a lip, it held charcoal better than I expected, and it is easy for ashes to spill into the food. It baked the bread perfectly, it was brown on top, cooked through out, and did not stick, and with care no ashes fell onto the bread.
I am very happy with this Dutch Oven, and look forward to many camp meals that will be cooked in it.
Good pot but not durable, (What's this?) I have many All-Clad products including a set of the original anodized aluminum over stainless steel that is still in very good shape. Quality is usually extraordinary.

This Dutch Oven cooks evenly and heats up quickly. Purchasers should realize that it has integral aluminum handles that heat up which means that you must use the included oven mitts.

This is the only non-stick pot that I own (which is why I purchased it). The coating is inside and outside for easy cleaning. I loved it for three months. Then I noticed a very small area on the inside bottom where the non-stick coating had worn off. Three months later and the worn area is spreading like a rash. This in spite of the fact that I have been exceptionally careful. No metal has ever been anywhere near the inside of the pot (only nylon utensils) and I have cleaned this exclusively with a sponge. No harsh cleansers.

This is disappointing because it is such a great pot, particularly for the money.
Is this meant to be disposable?, I bought this pot a few weeks ago. All I made were two soups over medium heat on my gas stove. The non stick surface started to bubble already! In both recipes, there has never been anything with high acidity and what not that might have bothered the surface. Yes, of course I used very mild dish detergent with no scent, no chemical and no color. My other non stick pot is still like new even though I've used it almost everyday for the past 5 years.
All Clad Cast Aluminum Dutch Oven, (What's this?) The All Clad Cast Aluminum Dutch Oven is a superb and must have in your kitchen arsenal; I have used it to cook meats and it does it to perfection. I would highly recommend having one, I bought two.
My go to pot!, (What's this?) Wow, I love this pot. I use it for everything. I initially wanted an enameled cast iron pot for braising but decided to try this first to see if I liked it and I love it! I have used it to make beef burgundy, red beans and rice, jambalaya, you name it. Handles and lid do get hot therefore it is worth the extra money for the oven mitts.
If you love to cook, you will love this All Clad Dutch Oven!, (What's this?) As soon as my All-Clad 5-1/2 qt dutch oven arrived, I opened it, washed it and began my Italian pasta sauce. I started by searing 3 country ribs, then removing and starting the sauce.
easy cooking, (What's this?) The price caught my eye, we like pot roasts and simmering spaghetti sauce. This is a perfect size for 2 or 3. The non-stick coating makes for easy cleanup.
I love this pot!, I am a big lover of LeCreuset and have many of their pots - I also have many All Clad pots. When I saw this pot on SurLa Table for 39.99 free shipping - I thought I'd give it a try. I was leary when I got it - very light and wondered how it would compete with the cast iron. Yesterday, I made pot roast INCREDIBLE results. Today, pulled pork - in the oven - same incredible results. The pot is light, non-stick, cleans easily and very very nicely priced. Don't have to kill myself lugging the huge LeCreuset anymore - for small roasts - this will be my go-to pot. Going to order another now for my sister-in-law who just had her kitchen remodeled. Highly highly recommend.
Excellent and durable., I read a couple of reviews that say this pot isn't durable which prompted me to comment. I have had this Dutch oven since All-Clad started making it. I paid about $150 for it then which was maybe 6 years ago. I have the gratin pan just like it as well as the entire All-Clad Copper Core line. This is my "go to" pot. I use it many times per week. I put this through the dishwasher every time I get done using it and this pot is still just as it was the day I bought it. I have even been known to stir food in it using a metal spoon, albeit an All-Clad metal spoon.

Lodge Logic Pre-Seasoned 8-Quart Camp Dutch Oven with Iron Cover

Great Value, Lifelong Investment, (What's this?) I'm an experienced cook, but I'm new to camp dutch oven cooking. I just started this summer(2010). I got my first camp dutch oven on Father's Day. I cook out in my backyard. Dutch oven cooking seems fairly simple and straight forward to me. I've tried about four dishes so far and they all have turned out great. 1000's of recipes on the net. The more you use your dutch oven, the more you learn how many coals to place on the top and bottom, to regulate the desired temperature. I would not own any other brand of dutch oven but Lodge. Lodge is the best and worth it's slightly higher price, over the China imports. Lodge camp dutch ovens are Made in the U.S.A. Think of it as a life long investment. The Lodge dutch ovens will not let you down. If things go bad, it the cook's fault, not the Lodge dutch oven's. I bought the 14" diameter size for cooking dishes for larger gatherings, and for cooking larger roasting chickens that I butterfly to fit the 3 3/4" height of the dutch oven. If your just starting out, the 12" Diameter, 5" Deep, 8 quart is the first size to get. Most dutch oven recipes are for the 12" size dutch ovens. But, because it's so fun, you may end up with 4 or 5 different sizes in a short amount of time. Get a Lodge dutch oven and just start cooking.
I'm a Big Fan of Lodge Cast Iron, (What's this?) I own several Lodge cast iron products, including a tiny skillet that has been passed down through three generations. As long as you take care of it, it will last forever. Even if it starts to rust, you can just scrape the rust off and start over. These products are very long-lasting, practically unbreakable, and will even add iron to your food! The 8-Quart Camp Dutch Oven can be used indoors or out. If I'm in the kitchen, I use my oven to bake ... outside, it's charcoal. It is very heavy, but easy to move around with the handle, and it holds a lot more than it looks like it would. Highly recommended for anyone from beginners to seasoned cast-iron cookers.
Only Lodge, (What's this?) I own three 12 inch Dutch ovens and one 12 inch deep Dutch oven. I've always thought the 12 inch was the perfect size, but I recently decided to try a bigger one. The 14 inch oven is great for larger groups and is really easy to cook with. It is also the first piece of Lodge Logic cookware that I have ever purchased. It was amazing right out of the box! If you are looking for cast iron cookware, DO NOT consider anything but Lodge. Pay the small amount extra and buy ONLY LODGE. You wont reget it.
Love cooking with a dutch oven, Received My Dutch oven in time to take it camping with us in Aug. Cooked Country style spare ribs, Pizza and Biscuits. My wife even made a raspberry cake, YUM<YUM. It was very easy to clean up after each meal. I was just a little worried about it being pre-seasoned but I'm not any more. Love my Dutch oven and the famliy loves the meals made at the camp while using it.

Emile Henry 614553 Flame Top 5-1/2-Quart Round Stewpot, Red

Emile Henry Flame Top 5 1/2 qt. round oven red, (What's this?) I bought this pot specifically to bake no-knead bread in it at very high temperatures. It performs excellently, is much lighter and easier to handle than an equivalent iron pot, cleans like a dream, and I am looking forward to cooking with it as well.
Need for No Knead, As with another reviewer, I also primarily use this for no knead bread, although I have a few old cast-iron dutch oven recipes I am aching to try. I bought this primarily because someone who borrowed my dutch oven failed to clean it properly, and it rusted. I am now in better financial shape and appreciate great kitchen items, so I decided to splurge. I was looking at the Le Creuset line when I came across this beauty. At the same time I was getting into bread baking and I discovered the no-knead method outlined by Jim Lahey in his wonderful book "My Bread". In the book he recommends several options, but the biggest problem with using most enamel covered cast iron pots is that you have to remove the handle, or you risk damaging it during the high temperature baking (475-500F). There were two models I found that would not have this problem.
The best pot I have ever had or used, (What's this?) I have done some research before buying this stewpot because it is pricey and got only positive reviews of the product. Now, after a few months using my stewpot, there is no doubt in my mind that Emile Henry pots are the best (and, by the way the healthiest)in the world. I used it on the stove top, in the oven, put it in the fridge, and the result is the same: no scratches or any other visible changes. It is still like new. I've been using it to make kicharee and congee as well as Western and chinese decoction formulae, and it is very important to use clay rather than metal (even stainless steel) vessels to retain spices and root nutrients. If you care not only about healthy food but also about how you cook it, the pot like this is a must.
Lovely addition to my kitchen!, (What's this?) Emile Henry Flame dutch oven looks beautiful as it graces my table, Not as heavy as some, cleans up easily after stuff is baked on.
Great product, (What's this?) I got one as a gift two yrs ago, and I love it so much that I use it almost every day. It's very versatile, not as heavy as those cast iron ones by Le Creuset. The handle and the top of the lid don't get hot, so it's easy to remove pot from the stove. The heat conduction is fast and even, the color is warm (feel like having comfort food) and the size is perfect. It's also very easy to clean. So, I bought one now as a shower gift for my future daughter-in-law after I saw the Le Creuset pot on the list of their wedding registry. She has not used it, so she can not make any comments yet. For me, if I see anyone asking for a stewpot on their wedding registry, I would buy this Emile Henry instead, as a gift without any hesitation, especially most retail stores carry products by Le Creuset only, people have no way of knowing and buying Emilie Henry's kitchenware to compare.

Amazon's price is good and delivered before the promised date...it's a great experience.
Surpassed my expectations-a wonderful Dutch Oven, I researched Dutch Ovens on-line and in several cookware shops. Looked at Le Crueset, Staub, and Emile Henry. With some hesitation I ordered this one from Amazon. I did not believe that a ceramic one would really brown ingredients well the way that braises require. Believe me, it does an excellent job on meat, poultry, and vegetables. I have made Beef Bourguignon and Coq a Vin so far. The pot is a joy to use, the shape and size is perfect, food does not stick or burn as it is cooking, and after cooling and a brief soaking it cleans beautifully. This Dutch Oven is not light weight but is is much lighter than the cast iron ones and I do not need to worry potential rusting or enamel chipping in the future. I expect that you do need to be more careful to avoid sudden temperature changes such as putting a really hot pot on a cold counter. Note that the first one I ordered was not packed well and arrived broken in many pieces. Amazon promptly and courteously sent a new one and a postage free label to send back the broken one. I am sorry to see that Amazon no longer offers this item directly.

Emile Henry Flame Top cookware, a technological innovation. An innovation in ceramics technology, Emile Henry's new line of Burgundy Clay Flame-Top ceramics products work directly on a gas flame or an electric or halogen hob without a diffuser, without any fear of cracking or breaking. Much lighter, (30%), than many types of comparable metal cookware products, Flame-Top is microwave and dishwasher-safe, cleans up very easily, is extremely strong and durable, goes under the broiler, and can go directly from a freezer or a refrigerator to a hot oven to the table, where it will retain the cooking heat for a very long time. This recent innovation from Emile Henry is a break-through in ceramics technology. Unlike most metal cookware products, Flame-Top cookware can sit on a very hot open flame for an extended period of time without any ingredients in the cook pot, and they will not crack, discolor or break. Perfect for braising, browning and slow cooking due to the incredibly gentle heat distribution properties of Burgundy Clay, Flame-Top products cook evenly and thoroughly when used on top of the stove, in the oven or even in the microwave. Enhancing this gentle cooking action are raised dots on the underneath side of each lid that evenly distribute evaporated juices directly back into the cooking food. This self-basting technique produces a more thoroughly cooked, tender and moist dish than with traditional lids, which force liquids to run down the sides of the pot, and which contribute to uneven cooking. Emile Henry Flame-Top ceramic cookware is light and versatile, and better brings out the flavors of all cooked foods.

Bayou Classic 7460 Dutch Oven with Basket, 8-1/2-Quart

very happy husband, (What's this?) I bought this as a Father's Day gift for my husband, and it was a great hit! I was looking for something primarily to use with a propane burner for our neighborhood outdoor fish fry parties, and it's perfect. I was concerned that 8.5 quarts might not be big enough, but it's just right for cooking a large batch of fish (or chicken) without having to waste a lot of oil.

As for concerns in the review, my pot was not cracked, rusted, or damaged in any way. It was not hard to season at all, and the smell wasn't any worse than what frying something indoors does for a day or two. If that's a concern, you can season it outdoors in your covered grill.

I did a little comparison shopping at a local cast iron outlet, and the only thing close was at least $20 more and didn't come with a basket.

My only "complaint" was that the packaging gave away the surprise. I expected it to come in the typical nondescript Amazon box, but it was shipped in the manufacturer's box, which boldly displayed a picture of the package's contents.

The husband and I are very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone.
Difficult to clean, I have to agree with Frank Yee. Extremely difficult to clean. It is coated with wax and I spent 30 minutes scrubbing it with a green "scratchy" pad and dish detergent and still could not get all the wax off - it sticks in all of the pores of the metal. So I put it in the oven at 300 degrees and 1 hour later it still smoking. My kids are complaining about the stinky fog in the house and have gone to the basement to escape. If I knew what I now know I would have purchased an American made product and paid a little extra.
Very Satisfied, (What's this?) I bought this dutch oven for my husband. We have already used it twice to fry chicken. It's the best tasting chicken I've ever had. Everything tastes better when cooked in cast iron. The pot is great and the aluminum basket is very handy. The only thing that could make it better would be is if there was a small spout for pouring the oil back out of it. I would definitely recommend this dutch oven.
Very poor quality, We purchased this as a Christmas present to ourselves. I was too lazy to scrub off the wax and season it for a few months, when I finally did, I noticed a huge crack all down the side of the dutch oven. Now it's scrap, and we are out almost $60. Cast iron, when properly made, will not crack like that just sitting in a cupboard. DO NOT purchase this brand! Go for Lodge Logic cast iron if you want a quality product.
False advertising, This pot was not as described. It was not a Bayou classic. It did not have a lipped lid, no alligator on it. It came with a rounded lid and cheaply made. I returned the pot.
Bayou Classic 7460 8-1/2-Quart Cast-Iron Dutch Oven and Lid with Perforated Aluminum Basket,
-I appreciate the shipping, it was very quick.
-Bayou Classic 7460 8-1/2-Quart Cast-Iron Dutch Oven and Lid with Perforated Aluminum Basket
As you seen the pot in the picture that the lid had crocodile on it which I wanted to get. I sent it back because of the different lid without a crocodile. They sent me the same as the one I sent it back.
Works for Me, (What's this?) It's a great price and serves it's purpose. Seasoning was easy. I just had to do it on a relatively warm day so I could have all my windows open when the oven started smoking. It's been ideal for making breads and one pot meals. I don't know if I'll ever use the basket that came with it but nice to have just in case. Overall, this dutch oven is a good value.
Great for Cooking Fish, (What's this?) This is a solid product and very easy to use. There was some assembly of the basket that needed to take place but it was very easy to do. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.
The Pot does not have an Aligator on it..., (What's this?) My cast iron pot is very plain and cheap looking. There is no alligator on it as shown in the picture.

I would recommend that you purchase a Lodge seasoned cast iron pot instead of this one.
Don't let the price fool you - just as good as Lodge!, (What's this?) What's a camping trip without peach cobbler fresh from a cast iron Dutch oven? Last year when we wanted to take our daughter on her first camping trip, we knew we had to find a cast iron Dutch oven - but the prices were through the roof - especially with shipping included. This one was not only a great price, but with free shipping through Amazon, it was a steal (in fact, I'd guess this has to be one of those items Amazon loses money on bc of the shipping...). The quality is comparable with Lodge and we've got no complaints.

  • Perforated aluminum basket.Dutch oven lid.8-1/2-Quart cast iron dutch oven.11-1/2-Inch diameter by 5-Inch height.Seasoned cast iron. Made of rugged cast iron, this classic Dutch oven not only slow-bakes traditional camp food such as chicken and dumplings, but thanks to the included aluminum basket can be used to steam clams, boil corn on the cob, or deep-fry fish with everything lifting out easily for draining. The relatively flat cast-iron lid is ringed by a one-inch lip that holds coals for the "oven" effect, and features a loop handle that can be hooked easily by a lid lifter. Because this model is designed without legs, the oven can sit comfortably on a grill or stovetop if desired. The perforated aluminum basket and the Dutch oven each feature a wire handle that stays upright at a 45-degree angle away from the heat, and swings down to the side for compact storage.

Lodge A5-7 Camp Dutch Oven Cooking Table

Fair quality for Chinese crap..., (What's this?) Man, I gotta tell ya, Im about to dump Lodge all together because I'm afraid the next Dutch oven or cast cookware I get will have the
"Made in China" sticker on it that the lid lifter and this table had on them.
Lodge cooking table for camping and backyard cooking, (What's this?) I love cooking in quality cast iron cookware ,at home or at the camp site.Food just taste better,it is healthy providing additional traces of iron and great for one pot meals(Dutch oven) The cooking table, typical of high quality Lodge products is great for warm summer months, taking the heat out of the kitchen or tent.
    Lodge A5-7Camp Dutch Oven Table,
We found the product to be eveything we expected. It works wonderfully. Would buy again.
Good Stuff, (What's this?) We have gone camping with out Dutch Ovens for many years and they are all well worn. The food is great but the one hassle was cooking them in the firepit because of needing to add coals and it being on the ground. This serves the need very well. It saves you having to bend over and tend to the coals as well as letting you start the coals higher. You can stack the ovens just like on the ground.

Well worth getting if you are a big Dutch Oven Chef. we bought the carrying case which is very nice however the stove folds into itself so that the stove ie very easy to transport without the case.
Dutch Oven Cooking Table., (What's this?) This oven works great for camping, and the side walls keep the wind from throwing ash around.
Lodge A5-7 Dutch Oven Cooking Table, (What's this?) The cooking table is easy to use, works well, and is sturdy.
Lodge A5-7 Table, Another fantastic item from Lodge. I am glad I spent a little extra money to buy this table over other less expensive ones. The higher walls are priceless when it's windy and the table is very solid to deal with the weight and the heat from cooking multiple dutch ovens on. Also the legs are adjustable so when cooking on uneven ground you can still get the table rock solid.
Indispensable for Dutch Oven Cooking, This table is a must if you want to try your hand at dutch oven cooking. We camped for two weeks, and the dutch oven meals were a huge hit! Without the table, though, it would have been cumbersome (on a fire, a grill, or on the ground). We put the D.O. table next to our picnic table or lounge chairs and were able to cook while being completely relaxed. Really fun.

Staub 5 Quart Bouillabaisse Pot, Blue

Great Pot, This pot is excellent cookware. It is the perfect size for soup, chili and other dishes. I love the flatish bottom that provides a larger heated surface. With the top on, the whole pot maintains the heat and cooks quickly.
shame on Amazon for such poor packaging, (What's this?) I received my Staub 6.25 Quart Bouillabaisse Pot, Blue in a box without any packaging except a thin layer of bubble wrap. There were chips in the lid and around the rim of the pot. My feeling is that some of the extensive damage was done before the packaging. I'm hoping inspections are completed "before" mailing so this will not happen again.
